Beta Bugs

Every now and then I’m invited to test out some site before it is live. I figured I’d give so-called bugs a visual representation. To keep my image interesting, I decided to vary the color of the bugs and the background. Also, I varied which way the bugs turned without worrying about exact symmetry. Using the medium watercolor pencil, I drew and then applied water with a brush. I glazed the piece with several layers.

  1. I like this one a lot. It's somewhat reminiscent of your dot paintings, too.

Thank you. I haven't had as much feedback on this one, compared to my other recent works.

Since the basic shape of each bug is a circle, I see what you are saying.
