Eclectic Connections

This sketch provoked a lot of interest from people who walked by me while I was sketching. In fact one guy asked for my business card. At the Chinese buffet, a server said it made her think of a Chinese Dragon. So, I think I will explore this way of working in some future works.

    At first, I saw a shawl or doilies. I love the edges.

    I like the lady's Chinese Dragon comment. I see that now. This would be cool with all the shades of red for China.

    Last night a woman asked me what my abstract sketch was - I was drawing while waiting for a free movie screening to begin. I just told her "I don't know." "I just enjoy drawing."

    She smiled.

    Thank you for your feedback. I'm not sure which way I'll go when I make a final piece. But, I do intend to make a large one.
